About Megan Connolly, MS, RD
I’m a registered dietitian born and raised in Southern California. I first developed an interest in dietetics as an undergrad at UCLA, when I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and received incredible guidance and support from a dietitian. I went on to earn my master’s degree at San Diego State University, and completed my dietetic internship at UC San Diego Health. Since becoming a dietitian, I’ve developed an expertise in nutrition therapy for eating disorders and disordered eating. I have worked with adult and adolescent patients in all levels of eating disorder treatment (residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient), and most recently led and expanded the nutrition department in an adult mental health intensive outpatient program. My additional interests and specialties include Intuitive Eating, fertility nutrition, and nutrition during pregnancy. I fully believe in the healing power of nutrition for both physical and mental wellness, and am thrilled to support my clients in optimizing their health. When I’m not in counseling sessions, my favorite activities include reading novels (ideally while drinking a cup of coffee), baking desserts, running, going on beach walks, and spending time with family and friends.
